DC Everest is one of my favorite venues to attend a sporting event. I have played in four eight-man football jamborees at Steihm Stadium, and also have attended many Level 4 games there. The picture featured here was from a 2016 Level 4 playoff game between Rice Lake and Notre Dame, won by Notre Dame. I also played in a sectional final basketball game at DC Everest. The football stadium has two levels which allows for many people to attend and playoff games to be hosted. It is easy access right off the highway and it's just a great place to watch a football game.
I love the basketball arena because it has a college arena feel to it. The court is in the center of the the two bleachers with some room to walk and it feels like it's in the very center of the gym. The court has only one volleyball line on it which give it a clean look, and the "Home of the Evergreens" on the end lines is something that you don't see every day. Not many high schools have a clock above the hoop. This looks very cool and gives it another college feel to it. Spacious seating allow for many people to attend and the students from both schools on one side is unique. Furthermore, students can stand because the court is not directly by the bleachers. Overall, two great venues to watch high school sporting events and I would recommend a trip to Schofield to check them out!
