Of course we love all #Wisconsin high schools, but there’s a special place in our hearts for smaller towns.— WisPreps (@wispreps) March 4, 2020

There are two types of people that go to Wisconsin high school sporting events.
1) Those that eat at the concession stand.
2) Those that don't eat at the concession stand.
We have a member of the WisPreps staff that walks into a Wisconsin gym for a game and says,
"Please get me a popcorn and a water"
We have a running joke to find THE BEST hot dog at a high school concession stand and ultimately "are there concessions" comes up any time we visit a school.
We are also extremely thankful to the concession stand workers as many times these are parents who are supportive in so many other ways that this is "one more thing".
We've loosely developed a "ranking system" for hotdogs.
(5 being the best)
1-5) Temperature of Dog
1-5) Natural Casing - is there a slight pop as you bite into the dog
1-5) Bun - home baked (little more rounded) or the cheapest kind you can buy
1-5) Wrapping - paper cradle or wrapped in tin foil for warmth longevity
1-5) Condiments - Traditional Ketchup/Mustard or enhanced - chopped onions, relish, ranch
We’re not just about the sports!— WisPreps (@wispreps) March 4, 2020
Hotdog Ranking
Hotness 3.8/5
Flavor 4.3/5
Freshness 3.9/5

So what's your "go to concession stand food" or are you "strictly business" and it's all sports?
